Conduction, Convection, Radiation
CA Standard: ES6 1c
Conduction is the transfer of heat by collisions between particles in matter
Convection is heat transfer in a fluid movement of heated particles from one place to another
Radiation is the transfer of energy by electromagnetic waves. It usually does NOT require any matter(solid, liquid, or gas) to transfer heat. It could happen in empty space.
